REMINDER!

If you have a yard it is your responsibility to maintain the grass, mowing, weed removal, and watering the grass and trees/bushes.

Lawns must be watered regularly, the grass is green and rock areas are weed-free. If you have a sprinkler system, please run it as often as allowed to keep your lawn looking healthy and green. If you don't have a sprinkler system or yours has not been turned on yet, it is still important to water your yard with a hose.

Keep Watering The Lawn

Hey there, Tenants....

Do you have shrubs, trees, bushes, hedges and/or grass on your property? Whether its in the front or the back it is tenant responsibility to water. Whether sprinklers are on, off, shut down or simply not present - you as the tenant need to hand water the lawn if necessary. Keep those lawns green and well taken care of. Pull weeds as needed, especially in rock bed areas. This will ensure the yards and curb appeal stay pleasant. Avoid unnecessary charges by keeping up on the yard work.

Home Owners BEWARE

Colorado Springs Agents have been alerted of a “Phone Spoofing” scam in the area. In the instance brought to the attention of PPAR, a seller was called to set-up a private showing at a listed property by someone posing as a real member by using the agent’s number hijacked through the app. The individual posing as the agent wanted to set up a private showing with the sellers at the home. The callers did not want the listing agent to attend. The seller could have been put in a very dangerous situation if they had met the caller posing as an agent. Only through some smart actions by the seller and the listing agent was this prevented.

Unfortunately, this is happening to home owners that have their home in a property management program as well. Please be cautious and call your agent if you are contacted by someone other than your current manager or listing agent.
